Construction planner

As a finisher, your strength lies in translating the architect's design into a feasible concept. You work out the technical details and seamlessly integrate the various disciplines to achieve the most functional and beautiful end result. Together with the project manager, you ensure clear construction drawings and planning, good administrative processing and a correct cost overview. As finishing work planner, you are involved in various projects and are part of the main contracting team. This team is responsible as main contractor for complete construction and finishing projects. With you on our maincontracting team, the construction process seamlessly links up with our customised interiors!

What will you do?

What does a finishing work planner do at INTOS? Join us for a day!

Today, in the morning you will drive straight from INTOS to the airport where a new lounge is being built. You will take measurements at this location and discuss the first action points from INTOS with the project manager. Back at the office, you contact one of the other project teams who will be making the fixed furniture and subcontractors who will help with the finishing touches. You start making a construction schedule which, as agreed, you discuss with the team at the end of this week. It's time for a break! The weather is lovely so you go for lunch on the roof terrace with some colleagues.

After lunch, you take all the information from the measuring session and start making the first architectural drawings for the finishing touches to the new lounge. While drawing, you discover that you have to come up with a creative solution for a number of connection details and materials in order to make the architectural design fit in well with the customised interior that will be installed. After forwarding the drawings to your team leader to discuss together, you pick up the last job for today. Following the construction meeting for a hotel in The Hague, you place new orders for finishing materials. You also immediately update the cost overview and construction planning and inform the project manager.

Who are we looking for?

Knowledge & experience

A degree in Construction Engineering, or you have experience in the field;
Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience;
Experienced in working in AutoCAD and/or Revit;
Proficient in organising, planning and coordinating. As a result, you are good at keeping an overview;
In possession of a driving licence B;
A good command of the Dutch language. English is an advantage.

A full-time position (40 hours), but a part-time position (32 or 36 hours) is also quite possible;
The opportunity to develop within the position or to grow into another position in due course;
Salary that shows appreciation for your knowledge, experience and background. Indication: €2,500 - €4,000 on a full-time basis;
